Your Logo is done, the Website is running,..now what? (pt. 1)
Part 1:
This is a common problem that we all run into. We set everything up, everything looks beautiful and we expect customers to line up at our doors, not so fast. Yes, it is important to have your Brand Identity established so your customer knows who you are, but what’s a Brand Identity if nobody sees or knows about it?
You can probably see where I’m going with this from the image above. Google Search, Marketing, Advertising..all of the above! If you do not have your Google Business Profile already set up and approved, you are running behind. Some would argue that a Google Business Profile is more important than your actual website. I would say it’s 50/50.
Google Business helps with establishing your business in your local area and it gives your customers a place to view your work, send you a message, access your website, and most importantly leave reviews. In addition to ALL of this goodness, your business will also be shown on Google Maps.
While we can’t promise you how high you will rank, here are a few tips that have worked for us.
Completing as many fields as possible!
Uploading accurate addresses and phone numbers!
Uploading offers, sales, photos as much as you can.
Putting the service you offer in the title ex. McNeal and Co. | Web Design, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing. One month I even put “Northern Virginia’s Best in Graphic, Web, etc” and it generated even more calls and clicks.
Replying to every review whether good or bad.
These are just a couple of suggestions to help you get started in Marketing your business and utilizing Google as a tool.
