    Gibran's educational journey has taken him through Fayetteville State University, The Art Institute of Washington, and culminated in a BA in Design for Media Arts from Southern New Hampshire University. Notably, Gibran also holds certifications in Digital Marketing and SEO through Google. McNeal and Company’s work can be seen both nationwide and globally, as he has creatively solved problems for clients ranging from doctors to government contractors and politicians.

Brian Shackelford

Graphic Designer | Web Designer | Marketing

  • Brian LaVar Shackelford is a seasoned graphic designer and marketing director with over a decade of experience in the creative industry. His artistic journey began with studies at Johnston Community College and culminated in a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Barton College. Deeply inspired by the expressive styles of the Harlem Renaissance, especially the works of Romare Bearden, Jacob Lawrence, and Aaron Douglas, he developed a signature aesthetic rooted in storytelling, cultural depth, and modern design principles.

    Since moving to Northern Virginia in 2012, Brian has built a career centered around branding, visual communication, and marketing. As Marketing Director at GreenLine Real Estate, he has helped shape the company’s identity and outreach, while also applying his skills well beyond real estate. Brian specializes in logo design, brand identity development, layout design, and creating cohesive visual strategies for entrepreneurs and small businesses. His work reflects a strong belief in the power of thoughtful design to elevate brands and connect with audiences on a meaningful level.

    Outside of his professional life, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He finds creative inspiration through books, music, video games, and family travel. Whether he's developing a fresh brand concept or refining the details of a visual campaign, Brian brings a thoughtful, authentic approach to every project he takes on.
