CASE STUDY: Big Fish

DURATION: Approx 5 mo.

Objective:

The objective for BIG FISH was to create a theme that fit the vision and reflect the BIG FISH brand. Initially, we developed the logo with the color red as a base. As everything began to develop, the light blue accent on the logo didn’t mesh as well as we had envisioned. We wanted for the blue to really stand out as this was a reflection of fresh water. When you combine this blue with a darker “slate” background you begin to correlate the environment in which you can catch fresh, sustainable, quality seafood.

STRATEGY

After our meeting with the owner of Big Fish, we knew that we had to take a non-traditional approach to his concept. Big Fish isn’t your average restaurant or takeout spot. They are focusing on high quality ingredients, marketing these ingredients, and delivering it to you in the comfort of your own home.

The owner specifically stated that he wanted to create items that not only tasted superior, but also looked superior on Social Media and other platforms.

Big Fish

We were able to develop a consistent brand theme across the board. We aimed to make Big Fish recognizable as a brand. Since there are few players in the fast-food seafood industry, we believe that, if you come in with an impact your name will stand out. Menu development that’s consistent with the logo and website is critical to developing the brand’s identity.
